At browserless we really only care about one thing: rock-solid headless performance. We don’t care about tracking your sessions, sending you frequent newsletters, or tracking you across the web. The only information we retain, as a part of signing up, is your email address and password. When you cancel your account, and the billing period expires, we automatically destroy this information so it isn’t kept around.
Like most other online services we use 3rd-party systems to help us out. As of right now we use Stripe for helping us with processing payments and subscriptions, SendGrid for sending transactional email (like when sessions are being queued), DigitalOcean for providing infrastructure, and run our own analytics site via Fathom on our own hardware.

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase a subscription to browserless, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your email address. When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our site, new products and other updates.
What personal information do you retain?
Upon purchasing a subscription to browserless we store your email address and a one-way hash of your password.
What information do you store about sessions?
When interacting with the service, browserless will monitor metrics such as the number of and duration of sessions. These metrics allow browserless to ensure a quality of service and are not retained long-term. Browserless does not monitor, store, retain, or resell the sites you visit or the nature of your sessions. However, if at anytime you are found to be in violation of our terms of service your account will be supsended.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
